Two years later...

I finally got a new computer!! It's literally been YEARS since I could fully play around online!

My old computer just shut down one day and didn't turn back on. Life was almost unlivable for a while! At first I seriously didn't know what to do when I had extra time at home, it was weird. NOW, it seems weird to be on the computer at all! I feel like I've forgotten everything. (actually had to look up basic html img code earlier  ) It's so awesome that we can get online on our phones nowadays, but it's definitely not the same!

THEN I come across all these broken images from photobucket on my site. Skip over there to find the site almost unusable! There are so many ads I can barely get around!! What the poo happened?? I have sooo much crap on multiple accounts there, and now I'm freaking out, trying to figure out where I'm going to store it all, and just HOW I'm going to get to it all with it all ad-frenzied. They actually cover the whole screen sometimes and before I can get to the little x, another pops up! Sorry... freaking out. lol (almost lost my mind when it was my first day "back" and I thought I had a virus before I realized it was just at photobucket that the ads attacked!)

ANYWAYS! I'm trying to clean up my gallery here. Noticed the shape/size of the previews changed so I'm going through getting rid of my submission prev images. Along the way, I noticed a few of my dolls were gif eaten! So I'm changing them all back to pngs. And that made me itchy to edit a lot of them. With my super old dolls, I found myself going "hey, I didn't change her eyebrow color" or "ah man, I forgot to shade under the clothes/hairline" *rolls eyes* Now it's an obsession! I don't want to totally redo all of them, because I like to look back at how I progressed, but I will admit to some fudgery here and there. lol It's giving me an opportunity to fix some of the random stuff I've been putting off with some of my more recent ones too. And all-in-all, I think it's a really slow, baby steps, way to get back into dolling after sooo long, so that's nice.   (Later that day: I just discovered you can't change file types from the original that was submitted... so I have to keep it a gif... wutamigonnado )

Thumbnails don't seem to work for me in my comments section of my submissions... I know I've seen people put linked images in their comments... geez... I feel green XD haha

I noticed the collabs section on Glam isn't very active anymore (a lot of them are the same ones that were there around my black-out). Those were always so fun! I was thinking of a collab with chibi-Alan-Rickmans, like all his movie roles. I'm imagining a wee Dr. Lazarus, Colonel Brandon, Metatron, Snape, etc etc etc Could work with Tim Curry and Johnny Depp too... Oh man, they'd all be so cute!!

I'm going to go poke around in my gallery again. So glad to be back!!!!
